An eight centuries old Cambodian Buddha statue was stolen out of the most famous temple in Cambodia on Tuesday night. Like most thefts, this was almost certainly at least partly an inside job, and like most thefts of artifacts, it’ll end up on some private collector’s shelf in a mansion in Europe or East Asia. This is just horrible.
