Minnesota 15: Updates and Information

Occasional personal updates on the Minnesota 15 case.

The basic situation

In June 2026, Davis and fourteen other Minnesotans were arrested and charged in federal court with conspiracy to impede or injure federal officers in connection with demonstrations against Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) “Operation Metro Surge.” Davis and the other defendants deny the charges, have legal representation, and are fighting the charges in court. This will be a lengthy affair; assuming the case moves forward to trial, the trial would likely not begin until early 2028. This page provides occasional personal updates; the Minnesota 15 site carries collective statements, broader background, press resources, and ways to support the defendants.

Motion hearing and press conference

Davis and the other Minnesota 15 defendants were scheduled to appear for a motion hearing at 3:30 p.m. in the U.S. District Court in Minneapolis, with a press conference immediately following the hearing.
